a-BSM, Bone Substitute Material, is a purely synthetic bone graft substitute that resorbs and is replaced with bone during the healing process. This product can be used for the treatment of bone voids. In addition, Etex is developing bone graft substitutes, which are suitable for the reconstruction of skeletal defects. Carriers for delivering recombinant human Bone Morphogenic Protein-2 (rhBMP-2) is also under development.
