The stem cell institute aims to elucidate key regulators of cell fate and cell proliferation in different organ systems and does research in the field of stem cells of different organs like the nervous and the hematopoietic system in order to clarify the molecular and cellular mechanisms. The institute is also working on the identification of key pathways that regulate differentiation of specific cell types from stem.
