Supported by the German Research Foundation (DFG) the research group’s interests are in haematopoietic stem cell trafficking and homing. Analysing the role of adhesion molecules, chemotactic factors, and cytokines in transendothelial migration of haematopoietic stem/progenitor cells and malignant haematopoietic cells may help to optimise bone marrow and peripheral blood stem cell transplantation.
