(UBDE) is a Department of Defense central contractor that researches, develops and commercialises leading-edge biotechnology from universities, research laboratories, Fortune 500 companies and government agencies. U.S. BioDefense has formed a subsidiary, Stem Cell Research Institute, Inc. in order to explore the commercialisation of stem cell technology.
