Umbilical cord blood is collected directly after birth. Stem cells are cryogenically preserved in the Lazaron storage facility and kept frozen at -196°C in liquid nitrogen. The number of CD34+ cells is determined before the cells are stored for the lifetime of the donor.
The Animal Bio-Cell Division offers regenerative veterinary cell replacement therapy to the race horse industry and is primarily specialised to tendon regeneration. Different reproductive and biotechnology techniques are offered to the animal breeding industry.
