The company`s aim is to improve the cardiac function by transplanting cells and tissues, injecting drugs and inducing myocardial regeneration. The establishment of various cell transplantation techniques for cardiac regenerative medicine are in process. The company provides the following novel technologies to collaborations and companies: Drug Discovery: searching a master gene of cardiac muscle and researching into cells for transplantation; curative medicine for heart diseases using a protein of low molecular weight to induce effective genes in myocardial protection in order to prevent myocardial infarctions; cytikine and peptide preperations for angiogenic therapy; diagnostic reagents based on proteomics. Devices for regenerative medicine: cell sheet: treatment of heart failures, MI (myocardial infarction) and DCM (dilated cardiomyopathy); cell injection catheter system: treatment for slight or medium heart failure and localised MI Devices utilising in situ tissue engineering: decellularised tissue for implanted medical devices; biodegradable polymers in auto-regenerative cardiovascular repair patches; nanotechnology: myocardial regenerative sheets.
