Biom’Up was established as a spin off of the Laboratory of Biomaterials at the Pharmaceutical Faculty of Lyon (France) in 2005.

The company is focused on biopolymers for medical devices, particularly based on collagen. In addition, Biom’Up develops purification solutions for the biotech industry primarily specialising in affinity chromatography.

According to specific requirements, Biom’Up produces a broad range of shapes, e.g. fibres, membranes, gels and sponges. The manufactured biomaterial partially holds antibacterial properties or prevents post-surgical adhesion.
