The company’s first commercial stem cell product, known under the name of Multi-Lineage Progenitor Cells™ (MLPCs™), consists of human stem cells derived from umbilical cord blood. These multipotent stem cells can differentiate into bone cells, skeletal muscle, fat cells, blood vessels, nerve cells and liver/pancreas precursors.
In addition, BioE has developed a cell separation technology (PrepaCyte®) which enables the extraction of MLPCs™ from umbilical cord blood as well as the isolation of stem cells and T-cells from adult blood sources.
