SOURCON-PADENA GmbH & Co. KG isolates new microorganisms with innovative, microbiological methods. Microorganisms out of rare genera and new taxa are potential suppliers of uncommon substances.The company has succeeded in creating products which can guarantee the quality of the yield. Examples include Pseudomonas sp. PRORADIX, a natural microorganism from soil. This rhizosphere microorganism can induce systemic resistance in plants to root and foliar diseases. Activation of nutrients uptake of a healthy plant leads to better growth of the plant, resulting in higher yields accompanied by a better quality.

A project funded by the BioProfile Regenerative Biology programme in cooperation with DR. PETRY genmedics GMBH, Reutlingen, deals with the development of new substances against the formation of biofilms (especially by Staphylococcus epidermis) on regenerative and synthetic tissue implants.
