Blind People to Perceive Light Spots
Retina Implant AG based in Reutlingen, Germany, has developed an electronic chip that is implanted below the cornea, thereby restoring partial vision in blind people.
Tests have now shown that implanted patients are able to perceive the direction and localisation of light spots and even patterns.
