Development of a placenta/stem cells “Implant” technique for the treatment of early Alzheimer’s.

StemCell Pharma was founded by Dr. Sapse on the background of his patented technology. The company is currently looking for financing from private and institutional investors. In July 2005, the company acquired exclusive rights on products containing placenta-derived stem cells. These include a line of anti-aging/aging control products in oral form and cosmetics from face creams to hair products. Dr. Sapse plans to open a stem cell clinic in Las Vegas in October 2005.

Dr. Sapse suggests its proprietary “Implant” for the treatment of early stage of Alzheimer’s. The technology is based on placenta stem cells, placenta nutrients, hormones and the actual placenta. The method was first developed at The Filatov Institute in Odessa and later expanded by Dr. Sapse. The method involves the preparation of implants sized 1” x 1/4”. These patches are implanted subcutaneously through a minor surgical procedure.
