Vet-Stem focuses on stem cell therapy for the application in veterinary medicine, espacially horses, to treat i.a. joint disease, osteoarthritis, OCD, bone cysts, tendons and ligaments.
Veterinarians take a small sample of the injured animal’s fat tissue that is subsequently brought to the Vet-Stem Laboratory, where the fat samples are prepared, stem cells and healing cell populations are cultivated. These stem cells are directly re-implanted into the injured area to regenerate the diseased tissue.
A couple of case studies demonstrate e.g. the successful treatment of superficial flexor tendonitis, suspensory ligament desmitis, degenerative joint disease and sub-chondral bone cysts by the application of Vet-Stem’s stem cell therapy.
