Cell Dynamics was founded in 2000. The company deals with the processing of human tissues and cells for research, transplant and cell-derived therapeutics. The company is processing tissues from neonate donors, but utilises cells from human donors of all ages. The company sister company, Cell Design, is equipped with clean room suites for autologous cell therapy.

Major field of interest is focused on a treatment for patients suffering from complete spinal cord injury (Pro Cord).

Pro Cord treatment is currently in Phase II clinical trials.
