PuraMatrix (TM) can be used to create synthetic self-assembling peptide nanofibre scaffolds and defined 3-D microenvironments. PuraMatrix can be used in drug discovery assays, bioproduction, tissue engineering, and cell-based assays including cell migration and invasion, angiogenesis, neurite outgrowth, and hepatocyte functionality and toxicity. The matrix won the International Awards For Biomaterial Nanotechnology & Regenerative Medicine in March 2004.
