EpiStem, which was founded in 2000 as a start-off from the Paterson Institute for Cancer Research in the UK, is an independent contract research company (CRO), specialising in epithelial tissue and (adult) stem cell analysis. The company provides pre-clinical research services to the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. EpiStem also supports companies in the development of novel therapies for proliferative disease.
