The focus of the company spans the development of controlled, sustained-release injectable drugs using ProLease® and Medisorb® technologies, as well as inhaled formulations based on their proprietary AIR® pulmonary technology. These particles can be delivered using small, simple inhalers, and can accommodate high drug doses and offer the potential for prolonged release. The first commercial product (Nutropin Depot) was developed in collaboration with Genentech, Inc. This is a recombinant human growth hormone formulated with ProLease technology.
