Ranier’s Precision Polyurethane Manufacture (PPM) technology enables novel solutions to device design and functionality. Polyurethanes are widely applicable in the manufacture of many disposable and implantable medical devices from catheters to orthopaedic implants. Ranier is developing its medical devices considering the interaction of devices with human physiology, the physical performance characteristics of the device, the long term stability of the device itself, usage and costs.

In addition to its PPM technology, Ranier has developed and patented a range of coatings technologies. Current product applications are in the areas of urology, cardiology, thin film barrier products, wound dressings and orthopaedic implants.
