Precursor Cells Generated From Human Embryonic Stem Cells Show Ability to Repair Vascular Damage in Animals

Worcester, MA, May 7, 2007 – Advanced Cell Technology, Inc. (OTCBB:ACTC – News) reported for the first time that hemangioblast precursor cells derived from human embryonic stem (hES) cells can be used to achieve vascular repair. The research appears today online (ahead of print) in the journal Nature Methods.
