The Company’s core technology of electrostatic spinning of connective tissue proteins makes it possible to mimic the three-dimensional architectural structure that is essential for the body’s natural growth and repair processes. The company’s proprietary technology leads (collagen-containing matrix materials are electrospun into fibrous layers) to the formation of collagen matrices with the correct fiber size and orientation that are virtually indistinguishable from native collagen, both at the macro and molecular level. The technology has also proven effective when using a wide range of biosorbable polymers and other connective tissue proteins, including elastin and fibrin.
