The three current programmes of the company are focused on the development of drugs that stimulate endogenous precursor cells (stem or progenitor cells) to repopulate damaged areas of the brain (therapeutic neurogenesis); generating cultured adult precursor cells capable of restoring brain function following transplantation in patients with CNS disorders (cell therapy), and CNS drug discovery technology for investigating the mechanisms underlying neurogenesis.
