Baylor College of Medicine - Center for Cell and Gene Therapy
The laboratory of Prof. Goodell is interested in the basic biology of haematopoietic stem cells.
The Center for Cell and Gene Therapy at the Baylor College of Medicine is led by Professor Margaret A. Goodell.

The research group is studying the behaviour of haematopoetic stem cells in vivo and in vitro using mouse stem cells as a model. Professor Goodell and colleagues are interested in using human haematopoetic cells as vehicles for gene therapy. Ongoing research of the group seeks to understand the precise identity of the cells involved in the regeneration process and the mechanisms which regulate their differentiation.
